The form should include some sort of CAPTCHA or spam-bot deterent.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The user would not be activated until the Administrator approved them.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Site Administrator would be emailed when a person registered. He could then go to the Manage Users screen, and see the new Registrants in the same area/section that Deleted Users are displayed until they are permanently deleted.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This way, the Admin gets to approve self-registrants, and then edit them to assign them to any user groups if that is what he wants to do.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Anonymous</dc:creator><pubDate>Wed, 28 Jan 2009 21:40:26 -0000</pubDate><guid>https://sourceforge.netf68f703b2014b24a65a3e785a979e2ef7ddda7a7</guid></item></channel></rss>
