It would really help a significant number of Linux users if you would generate a gentoo e-build to make installation easier. Portage can pull in the perl dependencys automatically if needed, and make it possible to install your wonderful program with a simple command like
emerge wordflashreader
thats it.
Well anyway, there really are a lot of us portage users out here who could benefit.

I've never used Gentoo before, so I'm not familiar with e-build or portage, but I've significantly improved the ease by which linux users can install this program. You can now just unzip the source file to whereever you want to install it and type:
./wordflashreader.linux.bin
