In the webmanager interface in the file manager.

Currently there is a check box next to each file, and then
at the bottom of the list is a select <option> box which
has move|rename|delete as options you want to do to
the multiple selected files.

Here is my suggustion: Add a 'edit' option to that list,
and make a simple function to make sure that only one
file is selected when the user chooses this option (could
even be client-side javascript to keep serverloading
down). When the user selects that option and
presses 'submit', a new window is opened which has a
big <textarea> with the file contents inside. In Plain Text
Formant of course. Underneath this BIG box is a smaller
input box which has the relitive path, filename, and
extension. to the right of this box are two buttons that
say 'Save' and 'Cancel'. SAVE saves the contents of the
<textarea> to the filename. if the file already exists,
then you are just basically updating the file. If the file
dosn't exist, then you are making a new one with that
name. CANCEL simply closes the new window that was
opend when the user selected 'submit' from the file
manager.

Oh yea, the save button would also close the new
window, and then refresh the file manager window.
