Using the Mandrake 9 ISO's, not everything fits on the
TV. Everything on all 4 sides is cut off.

XBox Linux, please note, can you try not running at
640x480 but at 512x384? I believe that resolution may fix
    the problem.

I too am having display problems and would like to know how
to change the resolution from 640x480. This being the lowest
option I have in the GUI.

The 512x384 thing is complete garbage, ignore it.

This is a known problem that is local to the TV encoder
chip. For 640x480, Cromwell and Xromwell (the new XBE
loader use by Ed's Debian) have overscan corrected modes
for both PAL and NTSC now.

For PAl 640x576 there is currently no way to do the
overscan correction, but this is still being worked on.

Please post on the mailing list if this is still bugging
    you.

yeah trust me they all will do that
your best bet is to try and find an old ass
monitor from like a commedor 64 or such
that will except an RCA in but still let
    U modify screen size

    thats what i use
    *shrugs*
