creating/applying XML diffs, while when you search&lt;br /&gt;
sourceforge and freshmeat you'll notice that there are&lt;br /&gt;
SOME XML diff utilties available, you'll also notice&lt;br /&gt;
that there's basically not any single WORKING version&lt;br /&gt;
available, in fact the majority of tools does not only&lt;br /&gt;
have very limited use, but has also significant&lt;br /&gt;
external dependencies (i.e. JAVA/.NET!).&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So, adding such features to XMLStarlet could really&lt;br /&gt;
complete it totally and make it an even more useful tool.&lt;/p&gt;
