We have found that when using the xml output option the
operating system guesses written to the xml file are
not usually 100% the same as those written to the user
interface. There is usually significant overlap between
the two sets of guesses but differences do exist. Here
is what we have found in limited testing:
-NT 90% of OS guesses overlap (between ui and xml)
-BSD 60% ''
-XP 50% ''
-Fedora 80% ''
-MS 2003 Server 50% ''
-Red Hat 100% ''
This behavior does not seem logical. We would expect
the same results would be printed to the screen and to
the xml file.
Ok, we'll follow up on this :)
