Exception in thread when running in UNIX

Hi Support,
When I run the zipdiff command in windows I get the
expected results. My java -version in Windows in
1.4.2_09-b05.
On UNIX my java -version is 1.3.1

And when I run the command:
java -jar zipdiff.jar -file1 abc.ear file2 efg.ear

I get the error:
Exception in thread "main"
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
java/lang/CharSequence
