&lt;p&gt;in one of my projects there is a need to evaluate whether &lt;br /&gt;
two JAR files - or ZIP files - are different. We are not &lt;br /&gt;
interested in the exact details what the differences are, &lt;br /&gt;
only the fact that they differ. I think it would be useful to &lt;br /&gt;
wrap your task as an ANT condition?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;P.S. We have an implementation of the required &lt;br /&gt;
functionality, but it think it won't match your design. &lt;br /&gt;
