  • For most networking scheme the default settings are working well. Probably the powerfull antispam ever made.
  • excellent software
  • - makes sophisticated anti-SPAM solutions possible - easy to install, but not easy to configure - complex to very complex - requires experience and carefulness - does amazing job when properly configured Feel free to ask for more information.
  • Absolutely _Amazing_! Easy to install and get up and running. There are so many options that it takes a bit of digging around to get the hang of what needs to be adjusted, but it's well worth the effort. Successfully installed on Windows 2K Server with Exchange 5.5. Works Fantastic! If you are configuring a setup like this and need help, please feel free to contact me.
  • Way faster (on linux) than any other solution including mailscanner and spamassassin. Also is extremely light on resource usage.
  • very difficult to configure - almost no documentation

  • Using the product for 3 years. Took me several days to configure all settings. Since then, works like a charm. Did not have false positives and works like a swiss clock
  • Assp does it all, and because of this, the configuration can be a little daunting. RBLs, SMTP, whitelisting, greylisting, redlisting - the list keeps going on. Don't be dissuaded - ASSP can be configured to be highly effective with just a few options - add more as you learn more about it. Awesome project.
  • Excellent, very nice interface, intuitive. Works out of the box.
  • Currently using ASSP as a first-touch with Sonicwall running secondary content-based filtering. ASSP nails 90-95% of the spam at the front door based simply on connection behaviour.
  • Awesome app, couldn't recommend it highly enough it virtually stopped our Spam at www.netzensolutions.com we have been using it for years...
  • Been using it for 10 months now, it's great and you can really personalize it for your needs once you figure out your way around it. Most spam will be rejected before they even get to send the DATA command, most at EHLO (HELO) actually. I like that it lets you customize every option and set it up to filter only the things you want to, also you can have different settings for every domain/email address. The last part is it takes very little system resources considering everything it does. And it's free!
  • Best open source, easy to implement anti-spam filtering software period. It's direct competitor is Barracuda (i believe). Better than Brightmail in terms of ability to control what gets in.
  • Configured it over a weekend several years ago and never looked back. Can't imagine life without it. I recently gave a preconfigured VM to my brother and he loves it too.
  • Powerful, effective software. Lots of parameters to configure but the default settings are very sane. End users like being able to forward their own spam to the system and I don't have to deal with it!
  • a MUST HAVE
