1.55.0 - Missing zlib

A second build of the 1.55.0 libraries was required because the original was erronously built without the correct zlib, and failed to generate the boost-zlib libraries. See the 1.55.0-build2 directory for the updated versions.

Visual Studio 2013 Problems

The msvc-12.0 build (which is the version of Visual Studio 2013) does not have a working serialization library along with some other issues. See the release notes for more details.
