  • Works like a charm, much better then many paid anti virus.
  • I like it for a decent set of utilites. But, guys, you have to increase virus detection.
  • Very nice Antivirus program related to program infomation : http://turboindir.net
  • I use it just because it is virus free.
  • good job
  • When I ran Windows, this was my choice of AV. (I now run GNU/Linux fully, so I'm no longer a user.. but still!)
  • it's beter then Hitman prog!!!
  • doesn't catch many viruses under windows xp.
  • bittorrent is better ;)
  • ok
  • Good, but doesn't provide a "real-time" gaurd.
  • It's good one... I have been using it about a year and I found it satisfactory.... Thumbs up!!! The -ve side is it is slower than many scanners.....!!
  • very very very good AV pogramm i love clamwin ein sehr sehr gutes Antiviren pogramm ich liebe clamwin
  • This is a great AV - been using it for as long as it's been out there.
  • Clamwin Rocks - it has everything you need and it's an Antivirus you can really trust as it is open source.
  • Works perfectly in every way.
  • ClamWin is a GREAT antivirus! Only downside is it doesn't have on-access scanning or URL scanning, but if you are somewhat experienced with computers and the Internet, you'll be fine if you scan files you download. Definitely worth trying.
  • Very good AV scanner with daily updates. The scanner has many options and I recommend this program as the main AV with planned checks. I worked six months with AVG, Avira and Microsoft AV. However, they found nothing. First ClamWin scan: Trojans and viruses hidden in e-mail attachments and zip files. What more could I want? Negative: No real-time scanner, but I think that is in dialogue. When scanning the window is not movable Greetings
  • very good detection prooved by everyday practical usage in service and technical support outsourcing company. in comparisson to other antiviral scanners this one is the most adequate cause it practically doesnt have shameful false positive detections but it detects the most of real viruses. in case of unknown but suspicous file its possible to use independed solution like http://www.virustotal.com/ and than to submit virus or false positive (the last i got in 2009 and no one in 2010) at http://cgi.clamav.net/sendvirus.cgi
  • Great program... but not for the novice. Doesn't come with any setup help but easily configurable - which should be done straight after install, otherwise it will not scan your computer. I have always used it in conjunction with Spybot S&D with its 'Tea Timer' running. Never had any problems over many years with both programs installed and regularly updated. Spybot... just google. If you do not enjoy spending time with understanding computers then you maybe be better off with the AVGfree or similar program.
  • Super easy setup.
  • Has a VERY POOR detection rate - provides very weak protection. See reviews at: http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/review/security/clamwin/free_antivirus_2009/316878 and http://www.infoworld.com/d/security-central/clamwin-free-antivirus-software-968
  • where is source code
  • No one seems to be writing actual reviews of this project so I will. There is no real-time scanner, so you have to run a scan manually when you need to. Or you can schedule scans to take place at a time when your computer is not in use. there is also an explorer extension so you can right click to scan a single file. the scanner is slow but It has caught many virus's that I've downloaded from the internet, the program and the virus definitions are upgraded frequently. It's free, It's Open Source, and It works.
  • пока что особо не тестировал, но надеюсь он поможет. так то стоит аваст
