1. Version Compatibility

   JES v2.8.x is upwards compatible with the following
   versions of other JES subprojects:
      JES-DNS 1.0+
      JES-Crypto 1.0+
      unixUID 1.0+
      JES-WEB 1.1+
      JES-WEBResources 1.1+

2. Application packaging

   Both the binary and the source release are packaged
   in a jar. Simply extract the contents to a desired
   location using an archiving utility. The binary
   bundle archive is simply a placeholder for the normal
   binary releases (JES, JES-WEB, JES-WebResources,
   unix-uid).

3. Documentation

   All information pertaining to the installation, setup,
   executing, building, logging and troubleshooting of JES
   is available either as a separate download (JES.pdf) or
   as part of the binary download (standalone or bundle).

4. Requesting help

   Please use the mailing list if you want help addressing
   issues. This is the preferred method although you can
   also use the sourceforge ticketing system. Before taking
   any of the above steps you are kindly invited to take a
   look at the documentation. A solution to your particular
   issue may already exist.
