You need JDK 1.7

Installation procedure

1) Make sure you have deleted from your user folder a folder logicaldoc possibily created by previous installations
   e.g. under Windows remove folder C:\Users\<Your_Username>\logicaldoc
   
2) Open a command shell into folder \tomcat\bin 

3) Type the command: catalina run

4) After the startup complete shutdown Tomcat
   You should wait for a message similar to this: INFO: Server startup in 8423 ms

5) Restart Tomcat for the 2nd time

6) Wait that the startup complete
   (the same as in step number 4)
   
7) Perform the Setup of the system accessing the setup path:
   http://localhost:8080/logicaldoc/setup 
   use admin/admin as credentials in order to enter the protected area   
   
8) After you complete the setup you can login and start using LogicalDOC from the login page
   http://localhost:8080/logicaldoc/
   Tips: if you haven't specified username/passwd during setup the default credentials are: admin/admin
