0.3.0.0 comes with the following changes:

  • Added Basic Debug Logging
  • Added "Hide Icon" menu option
  • Fixed Widgets still opening in Edge
  • Fixed Updater to load the correct page
  • Added Edge Beta, Dev, and Canary Support
  • Added lots of not yet implemented future code
  • Greatly Improved Application Resource Usage (~66% less!)
  • Added /h or /hide parameter to hide the icon on launch (Launch the app again to have to reappear)

Disclaimer

PLEASE NOTE: MSEdgeRedirect is still BETA. Changes are to be expected, and performance to be improved. Dev builds now have similar performance to EdgeDeflector when using Active Mode.

How to use:

  1. Launch the app
  2. (optional) Adjust settings by Left Clicking the notification icon image
  3. Relax, Anything that Windows opens in Edge should be redirected.

Known issues with this build:

  • Search Results Duplicate if Edge is already open - [#8], Will be fixed in ACTIVE MODE
  • Command Line Debugging accidentally left in - No issue, fixed [4fdfb7]
