Note that only packages specifically compiled for Apache Openoffice (having AOO somewhere in the filename) will work on AOO. If your system accepts .deb packages, it is strongly recommended to install from my PPA: http://launchpad.net/~jrheinlaender/+archive/ppa The Linux version of iMath requires that you install libeqc (http://sourceforge.net/projects/eqc): Version 1.4.13 (iMath-2.1.0) Version 1.4.14 (iMath-2.1.1) Version 1.4.16 (iMath-2.1.2) Version 1.4.18 (iMath-2.1.4) Version 1.4.19 (iMath-2.1.5~beta1) If your Linux system still has libginac2 (e.g. Ubuntu 14.04) you must use the corresponding .oxt package if you are installing from the extension manager. Installing from PPA will always pull in the correct package so that is the preferred method. The Windows version requires the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 redistributable (iMath-2.0.0 upwards) or 2013 redistributable (iMath-2.1.2 upwards). Please see the wiki documentation (http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/ooo-imath) for details on known working configurations of iMath, libeqc, OpenOffice/LibreOffice and Linux/Windows.
