Web-based protein structure viewer and analysis tool
"I see in 3D" (iCn3D) Structure Viewer is not only a web-based 3D viewer, but also a structure analysis tool interactively or in the batch mode using NodeJS scripts based on the npm package icn3d. iCn3D synchronizes the display of 3D structure, 2D interaction, and 1D sequences and annotations. Users' custom displays can be saved in a short URL or a PNG image. The complete package of iCn3D including Three.js and jQuery is in the directory "dist" after you get the source code with the "Code" button. View a 3D structure in iCn3D, input a PDB ID, and click "Load". You can also click the "File" menu to "Open File" or input other IDs. You can open a browser in your Virtual Reality (VR) headset and view a 3D structure in iCn3D. Then click the button "Enter VR" at the bottom center of your browser to enter the VR view. You can select residues with the trigger button. -

ML Sharp
Sharp Monocular View Synthesis in Less Than a Second
ML Sharp is a research code release that turns a single 2D photograph into a photorealistic 3D representation that can be rendered from nearby viewpoints. Instead of requiring multi-view input, it predicts the parameters of a 3D Gaussian scene representation directly from one image using a single forward pass through a neural network. The core idea is speed: the 3D representation is produced in under a second on a standard GPU, and then the resulting scene can be rendered in real time to generate new views interactively. The representation is metric, meaning it supports camera movements with an absolute scale rather than only relative depth cues, which is useful for consistent viewpoint changes and downstream spatial tasks. The project is structured for reproducibility, with code and assets aimed at demonstrating view synthesis quality, sharp details, and fine structures when rendering high-resolution images. -

Origami Editor 3D is an advanced paper folding simulator. It uses a what-you-see-is-what-you-get interface and operates with a geometric abstraction of the Yoshizawa-Randlett system. Anything from a simple airplane to John Montroll's omega star can be folded in this editor. Origami files created with the program preserve the entire folding process, and they can be exported as folding diagrams in PDF, animated GIF files, or even as standalone Java programs displaying the origami in a 3D viewer when opened. The main purpose of this program is designing origami, but if you only want to learn how to make some origami figures, there is a set of built-in example files that can help you. Currently, there are 34 example figures available. Please note that this project was created for fun and still is a work in progress.
