At WWDC 2019, Apple announced a new library of icons that came included with that year's new operating system versions. To browse them, there's a dedicated Mac app called SF Symbols. You can be sure your symbol code won't crash due to typos or symbol availability issues. This is because all symbols are tested via a CI (on the latest iOS & tvOS versions and also some earlier OS versions). Lookups in the SF Symbols app (e. g. about available layersets, available localizations & the look of the symbol) are no longer needed because every symbol is documented in code. Multiple SF Symbols versions are supported at the same time (via utilization of the @availability flag). Each symbol is only made available on those platform versions where Apple says it's available. Renamed symbols can be detected easily (via a deprecation notice which suggests the use of the new name at the same time). -

Tiling window manager for macOS along the lines of xmonad. Amethyst is available for direct download on the releases page or using homebrew cask. Amethyst now is only supported on macOS 10.12+. Amethyst must be given permissions to use the accessibility APIs under the Privacy tab of the Security & Privacy preferences pane. Amethyst uses two modifier combinations. Amethyst allows you to cycle among several different window layouts. Layouts can also be enabled/disabled to control whether they appear in the cycle sequence at all. The default layout gives you one "main pane" on the left, and one other pane on the right. By default, one window is placed in the main pane (extending the full height of the screen), and all remaining windows are placed in the other pane. If either pane has more than one window, that pane will be evenly split into rows, to show them all. You can use the keyboard shortcuts above to control which window(s), and how many, are in the main pane. -

Iconic helps make icon fonts integration effortless on iOS, tvOS and watchOS. Its main component is in charge of auto-generating strongly typed Swift code with SwiftGen, compatible with Objective-C. You will interact with an auto-generated class under the name of {FontName}Icon.swift, which is a light abstraction of the IconDrawable.swift protocol. Some open-sourced icon fonts don't include the names of each of their glyphs. This could result in a non-descriptive enum, which can make things less intuitive for you when using Iconic. If you create your own icon font, make sure to properly name each glyph. You can construct an UIImage instance out of a font's icon and tint it. This may be very convenient for integrating with existing UIKit controls which expect UIImage objects already. -
