    HackGen

    HackGen

HackGen is a composite font of Hack and GenJyuu-Gothic

HackGen is a composite font of Hack and GenJyuu-Gothic. Hakugen (Hakugen) is a programming font that combines Hack, an English font for programming, and Genju Gothic, a derivative font of Minamoto no Kaku Gothic. In addition to simply synthesizing the two fonts, we are working to further improve visibility through some unique modifications. Orthodox monospaced font with character width half-width 1: full-width 2 (character width half-width 3: full-width 5 version also included) Hack-derived, easy-to-read English letters with a gentle impression. Kana characters and kanji with the texture of Maru Gothic while being firm derived from Genju Gothic (supports 1st to 4th level kanji) Full-width space visualization, pipe symbol |break line (Ricty Discord inspired) The dakuten and semi-dakuten are made larger than usual, making them easier to distinguish even when the display size is small.

    JetBrains Mono

    JetBrains Mono

The free and open-source typeface for developers

A typeface made for developers. Characters remain standard in width, but the height of the lowercase is maximized. This approach keeps code lines to the length that developers expect, and it helps improve rendering since each letter occupies more pixels. Consider this in contrast to some other fonts. Consolas, for example, has slightly wider letters. However, they are still rather small, which forces you to increase the size by one point to make the font more readable. As a result, lines of code tend to run longer than expected. JetBrains Mono’s standard-width letters help keep lines to the expected length. The shape of ovals approaches that of rectangular symbols. This makes the whole pattern of the text more clear-сut. The outer sides of ovals ensure there are no additional obstacles for your eyes as they scan the text vertically. JetBrains Mono’s typeface forms are simple and free from unnecessary details. Rendered in small sizes, the text looks crisper.

    Space Grotesk

    Space Grotesk

Space Grotesk: a proportional variant of the original fixed-width

Space Grotesk is a proportional sans-serif typeface variant based on Colophon Foundry's fixed-width Space Mono family (2016). Originally designed by Florian Karsten in 2018, Space Grotesk retains the monospace's idiosyncratic details while optimizing for improved readability at non-display sizes. Family is built using fontmake and gftools post-processing script. Tools are all python based. Space Grotesk is licensed under the SIL Open Font License v1.1, see OFL.txt for details.

    epcol

    epcol

Epcol gives access to factory builtin features of ESC-P2 printers

Epcol gives simple access to using factory builtin features of ESC-P2 printers such as the Epson LQ590 printer. These printers have very nice embedded fonts that are easy to use when a file is processed by epcol before printing. The proportional fonts are very nice looking fonts. A typical usage is putting macro commands in the text file or specifying a command option to epcol on the command line as shown in the epcol syntax statement. Just give epcol an unknown option to get the syntax echoed (e.g., epcol -z). The macro commands are the macro name, .ep, followed by a command name such as roman (i.e., .ep roman) on a line by itself. The .ep\ proportional command enables the printer builtin proportional spacing font. The ocfont reviews serve as a question and answer area for epcol and other josephms sourceforge projects and are regularly checked. Rel_1.2.0 adds support for newer printer fonts (e.g., prestige) with added .ep macros and with command line -style option values.

    Aesthetic OpenboxWM Environment

You might be here looking for (Linux) rice reference or to (full?) replicate my personal configuration of my favorite Openbox Window Manager and several apps as well. Debian-based Linux distributions. Arch-based Linux distributions. Gentoo source-based Linux distributions. Another independent Linux distribution. Berkeley Software Distribution (BSD) variants. Additionally Z shell with oh-my-zsh plugins. Aesthetics don't only look at the beauty of the results. There's beauty, in a sense, users are expected to feel like they are part of how this was crafted. Emotion and satisfaction, relatively. Ideally, the author's idea is to use this as a minimal "replacement" for bloated and complicated desktop environments. Pragmatically, what are the "benefits" in our daily life, especially for low-end devices. Realistically, be "grateful" to accept the existence of lightweight and non-proprietary software, and use it (instead of using pirated software).
