Cycle.js
A functional and reactive JavaScript framework for predictable code
Cycle’s core abstraction is your application as a pure function main() where inputs are read effects (sources) from the external world and outputs (sinks) are write effects to affect the external world. These I/O effects in the external world are managed by drivers, plugins that handle DOM effects, HTTP effects, etc. The internals of main() are built using Reactive Programming primitives, which maximizes separation of concerns and provides a fully declarative way of organizing your code. The dataflow is plainly visible in the code, making it readable and traceable. Cycle.js apps are made of pure functions, which means you know they only take inputs and generate predictable outputs, without performing any I/O effects. A high-level abstraction built on top of the MultipeerConnectivity framework, which allows iOS, macOS and tvOS devices to exchange data between them over Wi-Fi networks, peer-to-peer Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. In order for MultipeerKit to work when running on iOS 14, you will have to include two keys in your app's Info.plist file. For the privacy key, include a human-readable description of what benefit the user gets by allowing your app to access devices on the local network. The Bonjour services key is an array of service types that your app will browse for. For MultipeerKit, the entry should be in the format _servicename._tcp, where servicename is the serviceType you've set in your MultipeerConfiguration. If you're using the default configuration, the value of this key should be _MKSVC._tcp. -

Bridge between Lua and the .NET
Bridge between Lua world and the .NET (compatible with .NET/UWP/Mac/Linux/Android/iOS/tvOS). NLua is a fork project of LuaInterface (from Fábio Mascarenhas/Craig Presti). You can use/instantiate any .NET class without any previous registration or annotation. NLua runs on top of KeraLua binding, it encodes the string using the ASCII encoding by default. If you want to use UTF-8 encoding, just set the Lua.State.Encoding property to Encoding.UTF8. Calling instance methods: To call instance methods you need to use the : notation, you can call methods from objects passed to Lua or to objects created inside the Lua context. Calling static methods: You can call static methods using only the class name and the . notation from Lua. If you are using Xamarin.iOS you need to Preserve the class you want to use inside NLua, otherwise the Linker will remove the class from final binary if the class is not in use. -

XMPPFramework
An XMPP framework in Objective-C for Mac and iOS
XMPPFramework provides a core implementation of RFC-3920 (the XMPP standard), along with the tools needed to read & write XML. It comes with multiple popular extensions (XEP's), all built atop a modular architecture, allowing you to plug-in any code needed for the job. Additionally the framework is massively parallel and thread-safe. Structured using GCD, this framework performs well regardless of whether it's being run on an old iPhone, or on a 12-core Mac Pro. (And it won't block the main thread at all). There have been a number of changes to the public API of XMPPFramework in an attempt to improve the ergnomics and safety when used with Swift. Most Objective-C projects should require no changes, with a few minor exceptions. Many (simple) changes will be required for pure Swift projects, mostly due to the new nullability annotations. The process is still not complete so please submit issues and help if possible to minimize future breaking changes. -

Mobile AI Compute Engine (or MACE for short) is a deep learning inference framework optimized for mobile heterogeneous computing on Android, iOS, Linux and Windows devices. Runtime is optimized with NEON, OpenCL and Hexagon, and Winograd algorithm is introduced to speed up convolution operations. The initialization is also optimized to be faster. Chip-dependent power options like big.LITTLE scheduling, Adreno GPU hints are included as advanced APIs. UI responsiveness guarantee is sometimes obligatory when running a model. Mechanism like automatically breaking OpenCL kernel into small units is introduced to allow better preemption for the UI rendering task. Graph level memory allocation optimization and buffer reuse are supported. The core library tries to keep minimum external dependencies to keep the library footprint small. -

MockHttp is a testing layer for Microsoft's HttpClient library. It allows stubbed responses to be configured for matched HTTP requests and can be used to test your application's service layer. MockHttp defines a replacement HttpMessageHandler, the engine that drives HttpClient, that provides a fluent configuration API and provides a canned response. The caller (eg. your application's service layer) remains unaware of its presence. MockHttpMessageHandler defines both When and Expect, which can be used to define responses. They both expose the same fluent API, but each works in a slightly different way. Using When specifies a "Backend Definition". Backend Definitions can be matched against multiple times and in any order, but they won't match if there are any outstanding Request Expectations present (unless BackendDefinitionBehavior.Always is specified). -

It provides a comprehensive 2D API that can be used across mobile, server and desktop models to render images. Building SkiaSharp is mostly straight forward. The main issue is the multiple dependencies for each platform. However, these are easy to install as they are found on the various websites. If you are just working on managed code, it is even easier as there mays to skip all the native builds. Because there are multiple distros of Linux, and we cannot possibly support them all, we have a separate NuGet package that will contain the supported binaries for a few distros. -

Twitter Image Pipeline is a robust and performant image loading
The Twitter Image Pipeline is a streamlined framework for fetching and storing images in an application. The high-level concept is that all requests to fetch or store an image go through an image pipeline which encapsulates the work of checking the in-memory caches and an on disk cache before retrieving the image from over the network as well as keeping the caches both up to date and pruned. Twitter Image Pipeline came to fruition as numerous needs rose out of Twitter for iOS use cases. The system for image loading prior to TIP was fragile and inefficient with some severe edge cases. Designing a new framework from the ground up to holistically approach the need for loading images was the best route and led to TIP.
