The Source Engine repository under that particular GitHub user appears to be a custom (or forked) version of a game engine — likely an engine derived from or inspired by the classic Source engine lineage (or at least the name evokes that lineage). However, publicly-available documentation, community support or clarity about the project’s scope and maturity seems limited: the repo does not clearly advertise a full engine release or wide adoption. As such, it feels more like an experimental or hobby project: potentially a work-in-progress engine or engine-in-progress reimplementation rather than a full production-ready game engine. PCSX2 is a free and open-source PlayStation 2 (PS2) emulator. Its purpose is to emulate the PS2's hardware, using a combination of MIPS CPU Interpreters, Recompilers and a Virtual Machine that manages hardware states and PS2 system memory. This allows you to play PS2 games on your PC, with many additional features and benefits. The PCSX2 project has been running for more than ten years. Past versions could only run a few public domain game demos, but newer versions can run most games at full speed, including popular titles such as Final Fantasy X and Devil May Cry 3. Visit the PCSX2 compatibility list to check the latest compatibility status of games (with more than 2500 titles tested), or ask for help in the official forums. The latest officially released stable version is version 1.6.0. Installers and binaries for both Windows and Linux are available from our website. -

This is a replacement to the older Wii U Homebrew App Store. To run this program, a Nintendo Switch with access to the Homebrew Menu is required. This can be done on most Switches manufactured before July 2018, for compatibility check your serial number at ismyswitchpatched. Download and extract the latest hb-appstore to sd:/switch/appstore/, and run "HB App Store" from within hbmenu. When you're done, you can press the Home or Minus buttons to exit. To run this program, a modded Wii U is required. There are work-in-progress ports to 3DS and Wii, with varying degrees of feature support. These can be compiled using the instructions below, but aren't yet ready to be used by most users. -

Proton is a tool for use with the Steam client which allows games which are exclusive to Windows to run on the Linux operating system. It uses Wine to facilitate this. Most users will prefer to use Proton provided by the Steam client itself. The source code is provided to enable advanced users the ability to alter Proton. For example, some users may wish to use a different version of Wine with a particular title. As the new Steam Play is still in Beta, it is recommended that you opt into the Steam Client Beta for the latest features and fixes. Proton works best with the latest graphics drivers. For some cutting edge games and graphical features, you may need drivers newer than what your distribution ships. Install and play games! DuckStation is an simulator/emulator of the Sony PlayStation(TM) console, focusing on playability, speed, and long-term maintainability. The goal is to be as accurate as possible while maintaining performance suitable for low-end devices. "Hack" options are discouraged, the default configuration should support all playable games with only some of the enhancements having compatibility issues. A "BIOS" ROM image is required to to start the emulator and to play games. You can use an image from any hardware version or region, although mismatching game regions and BIOS regions may have compatibility issues. A ROM image is not provided with the emulator for legal reasons, you should dump this from your own console using Caetla or other means. DuckStation features a fully-featured frontend built using Qt, as well as a fullscreen/TV UI based on Dear ImGui. -
