Speed Dreams is a Motorsport Simulator featuring high-quality 3D graphics and an accurate physics engine, all targeting maximum realism. Hammer of Thyrion (uHexen2) is a cross-platform port of Raven Software's Hexen II source. It is based on an older linux port, Anvil of Thyrion. HoT includes countless bug fixes, improved music, sound and video modes, opengl improvements, support for many operating systems and architectures, and documentation among many others.

OpenTTD is an open source transport simulation game based on the popular game Transport Tycoon Deluxe by Chris Sawyer, with several additions. OpenTTD is as close to the original as you can get, but has been extended with plenty of great features. These include bigger maps (up to 64 times bigger than the original), stable multiplayer mode that allows for up to 255 players in 15 companies, in-game downloading of heightmaps, AIs, scenarios, and so much more. With its many additions and improvements players are sure to have a greatly enhanced gaming experience. Try it for yourself!

CrossBrowdy is a free and open-source JavaScript framework that allows to create multimedia apps, emulators, game engines and games that will be compatible with any device. Any software developed with CrossBrowdy should be able to be used in any JavaScript compatible web client (including browser plug-in, add-on, extension, app...) which supports "document.getElementById". This framework allows any developer to manage easier many different things, such as audio (with Flash fallback, audio pool, etc.), canvas (with DHTML, VML, Flash or Silverlight fallbacks), screen, mouse, keyboard, gamepads, sockets (including PHP proxy fallback), XHR / AJAX (with PHP proxy for cross-domain requests), device sensors (compass / magnetometer, gyroscope, accelerometer, light sensor, proximity sensor...) and many more.

The thought struck me ... an OS called Haiku should be able to ... write a haiku. So I slapped together a CLI utility along the lines of fortune. No deep semantic analysis involved, I'm afraid, just a rearrangement of words in the required 5 - 7 - 5 syllable patterns. Occasionally it sounds as if there is a poet inside the computer trying to break out. Far more often, it looks like the computer is populated by Vogons. But, it is a haiku. You can pipe the output like any self-respecting *NIX utility. That was easy enough. What is taking up time is adding sufficient words to its database to prevent the haikus becoming repetitious. Version 0.1 is about halfway through the alphabet. Written in yab. I haven't tried it yet, but the code should work in yabasic for Windows or Linux.
