Seeker is an open source project that demonstrates how to obtain precise location information from devices using social engineering and web-based techniques. The tool sets up a phishing page that asks for location permissions, allowing GPS and other device data to be shared if the user consents. It can capture latitude, longitude, accuracy, altitude, direction, and even speed, with results displayed in a terminal. The project supports both manual deployment and tunneling services like Ngrok for external access. While primarily intended as an educational resource on security awareness, it highlights the risks of exposing geolocation data online. GG-Tracker tracks the location of your mobile device. It displays your position on the internet using Google Maps / Earth and uses live updates via ajax technology. GG-Tracker can run standalone or integrated on an existing webpage. The application is built using the template framework Bootstrap which makes it fully responsive (fits on any screen). Also the supporting files for Google Maps, Streetview and Earth are 100% responsive. GG-Tracker can potentially hook up to many different apps (iOS and Android) as long as they follow the OpenGTS or Garmin $GPRMC standards. The application itself runs on a standard Apache and MySQL setup.

PuntoGPS is a simple tracking application to show your position to others, e.g. during urban bike rides :) It's made up of a GPS tracking app and a web based map. Using PHP-CLI to parse NMEA data to generate depth maps with GD. As fishing is a passion of mine,and it got me to consider using the NMEA formatted data output from my Lowrance 5-DSI Elite to generate a bathymetric map of the lake at my cottage. It is currently very crude, just a bunch of CLI scripts that record NMEA data, and the other parses the stored data and builds a depth, water temperature and sample frequency map.
