Open Source C# Ham Radio Software

Two programs: (1) MorseNews sends news from one or more RSS and Atom feeds as Morse code, and (2) MorseKeyer, an iambic/bug keyer with mouse & serial key/paddle. The goal of the Free135 project is to create a suite of free scanner programming software for the RadioShack PRO-135 police scanner radio (catalog number 20-135) using the RadioShack USB/Scanner PC Interface Cable (catalog number 20-047). This is a very early, quick, and dirty release. There may be bugs and the code could definitely be optimized.

PowerSDR-sr40 is a branch of PowerSDR (www.flex-radio.com) and adds features for use with a SoftRock40 Radio. It is a near Zero-IF Quadrature Software Defined Radio (SDR). Features includes; TX capabilities, IQ sample correction, Dual Soundcard support.

The .NET APRS Packet Parser Class is used to decode Automatic Position Reporting System packets used in Amateur Radio. It is written in C# and is distributed under the GNU General Public License.

OpenAPRS is a GPLed Windows client for the Amateur Radio APRS protocol written in C# and .Net.

RadioBox is open-source broadcasting solution that relays on client-server architecture. It consists of media server that runs as a service and listens for socket connections of graphical interfaces (web access, Windows GUI, Linux GUI, etc...)

The FCC publishes pools of questions for each of the three Amateur Service (Ham Radio) license exams. Two of my programs clean and parse the files and put the questions and answers into a small lightweight database (SQLite) file. The third program generates practice tests which you can focus on particular areas of the exam or randomly select across the pool. The db file in the project is up to date as of February 3rd, 2020. When the FCC issues new/updated exam pools you can use the cleaning and parsing programs to update the database information. The project includes source code files. You may use them in your projects but you must give me attribution according to the GNU License Version 3.
