O GiftFinder foi criado inicialmente pois muitas vezes ficamos em dúvida do que dar de presente para um amigo(a) ou parente. O aplicativo GiftFinder foi construído com um propósito puramente educacional, de forma a demonstrar, por meio de um algoritmo programado em Java, a navegação entre nós de uma árvore binária que foi estaticamente construída. O GiftFinder possui um comportamento similar ao Akinator, ou seja, dada uma resposta para uma pergunta, o algoritmo irá avaliar a resposta, tomar uma decisão, navegar entre os nós da árvore binária e sugerir opções de presentes. Se o último nó da árvore for alcançado o aplicativo exibe uma última sugestão de presente mesmo que a resposta for "Não". Esse comportamento foi propositalmente adotado para caso o usuário mude de ideia. Obs: Diferente do Akinator, o GiftFinder não possui inteligência artificial, ou seja, ele não é retro alimentado de informações para a criação de ramificações e nós. -

Vokabeltrainer für mobile Geräte basierend auf Java 2 Mobile Edition
HandyVok ist ein Vokabeltrainer für mobile Geräte. Er eignet sich um Vokabeln zwischendurch und unterwegs zu lernen und macht es für den Benutzer leichter sich Vokabeln schnell anzueignen. HandyVok besitzt kein eigenes Wörterbuch. Wenn Sie also Vokabeln lernen möchten, so müssen Sie diese in HandyVok eingeben oder von einer externen Quelle übertragen. Das Übertragen und Verwalten der Vokabeln kann mit Hilfe der Software ListVok bequem erledigt werden. In ListVok können Vokabeln von Hand eingegeben werden. Es können aber auch Vokabeln von anderen Quellen, wie zum Beispiel Vokabellernprogramme, eingelesen werden. Diese Vokabeln können dann auf HandyVok übertragen werden. Find as much words you can in a schema (game console based).
Train your brain and your sight with this searching words game. You need to find as much words as possible in a NxN schema filled with random letters in the shortest time as possible. Only words that are longer then a minimum size can be selected. Words needs to be composed of connected cells. - You can't jump a cell. - You can't use twice a cell. Cells can be connected to each other in horizontal, vertical and diagonal. Dimension of the board, duration of a game and minum lenght of the word are configurable. At the end of your play you can see statistics showing the percentage of words found and the longest words contained in the board that you have missed. This game is compatible with any shell. Have fun and find a lot of words. -

IK Analyzer is an open source, lightweight Chinese word segmentation toolkit developed based on java language. Since the release of version 1.0 in December 2006, IKAnalyzer has launched 4 major versions. Initially, it was a Chinese word segmentation component based on the open source project Luence as the main application, combined with dictionary word segmentation and grammar analysis algorithms. Starting from version 3.0, IK has developed into a common word segmentation component for Java, independent of the Lucene project, and at the same time provides a default optimized implementation of Lucene. In the 2012 version, IK implemented a simple word segmentation ambiguity elimination algorithm, marking the evolution of the IK tokenizer from pure dictionary word segmentation to analog semantic word segmentation. -

Japanese Dictionary

The Japanese to English Dictionary is written in java, and so will require that you have the JRE installed prior to its installation & use. It is a hobbyist project of mine intended to address my admittedly narrow needs, and so will fall short of yours. If you have any suggestions for improvements, please let me know! This open source application would not be possible without the Japanese-English dictionary and kanji files assembled by Jim Breen; it would also have taken a great deal more effort without the BaseX API and the izPack installer. Currently only works for Windows, and is not yet fully tested. If you encounter problems, please report them. -

MatrixGame
An environment to develop games based on a rectangular board
MatrixGame is a development tool designed to quickly produce video games based on a rectangular board. A new game must be described as a new Java class extending the class Game that is enabled to use an interactive environment. For some examples please run the jar file after the download. A little menu opens letting you run all the developed games. Sources are inside the jar file that can be opened as a normal zip file. In the apk file you can find a partial Android porting.
