    Android Hidden APIs

    Android Hidden APIs

A library that provides access to Android hidden APIs

Android Hidden APIs are classes, methods, and resources that Google hides from you because of stability reasons. These features are hidden because they may be changed on next API version. The internal APIs are located in package com.android.internal and available in the framework.jar, while the hidden APIs are located in the android.jar file with @hide javadoc attribute. Now you know the difference. But I will refer to both as hidden APIs. This repo contains a custom android.jar which you can use to develop your app.

    Dexie.js

    Dexie.js

    A Minimalistic Wrapper for IndexedDB

Dexie was written to be straightforward and easy to learn. If you've ever had to work with native IndexedDB then you'll certainly appreciate Dexie's concise API. What good is any development tool without great documentation? Dexie is thoroughly explained, and examples are available to help you on your way. Dexie has near-native performance. Its bulk operations utilize an often-overlooked feature in IndexedDB, ignoring success callbacks when possible. Offline databases are groovy! But without keeping the database in sync with a server, you're missing a great deal. Dexie.js solves these limitations and provides a neat database API. Dexie.js aims to be the first-hand choice of a IDB Wrapper Library due to its well thought-through API design, robust error handling, extendability, change tracking awareness and its extended KeyRange support (case insensitive search, set matches and or operations).

    Anko

    Anko

    An Android application development library

Anko is a Kotlin library which makes Android application development faster and easier. It makes your code clean and easy to read, and lets you forget about rough edges of the Android SDK for Java. Anko was born as a type-safe DSL for building Android layouts. It not only allowed creating layouts in a type-safe way, but it made the layouts more adaptable, dynamic, reusable, and also performant, as there was no need for expensive layout inflation. Anko consists of several parts that make up the complete framework, which are: Anko Commons: a lightweight library full of helpers for intents, dialogs, logging and so on. Anko Layouts: a fast and type-safe way to write dynamic Android layouts. Anko SQLite: a query DSL and parser collection for Android SQLite. Anko Coroutines: utilities based on the kotlinx.coroutines library.

    Arrow

    Arrow

Functional companion to Kotlin's Standard Library

Arrow Core includes types such as Either, Validated and many extensions to Iterable that can be used when implementing error handling patterns. Core also includes the base continuation effects system, which includes patterns to remove callbacks and enables controlled effects in direct syntax. Some applications of the effect system reduce boilerplate and enable direct syntax including monad comprehensions and computation expressions. Arrow Fx is a next-generation Typed FP Effects Library that makes tracked effectful programming first class in Kotlin built on top of Kotlin’s suspend system and KotlinX Coroutines Arrow Fx is a functional companion to KotlinX Coroutines augmenting its api with well known functional operators making it easier to compose async and concurrent programs. The library brings purity, referential transparency, and direct imperative syntax to typed FP in Kotlin, and is a fun and easy tool for creating Typed Pure Functional Programs.

    CPU Features

    CPU Features

A cross platform C99 library to get cpu features at runtime

cpu_features is a cross-platform C library developed by Google that provides a simple and efficient way to detect available CPU features at runtime across a wide range of architectures and operating systems. It enables applications to determine which instruction sets (such as SSE, AVX, or NEON) are supported on the host machine, allowing developers to optimize performance dynamically. The library supports numerous architectures—including x86, ARM, AArch64, MIPS, POWER, RISCV, LoongArch, and s390x—and works on major operating systems like Linux, macOS, Windows, FreeBSD, Android, and iOS. Implemented in portable C99, it is thread-safe, has no memory allocations, and raises no exceptions, making it suitable even for use in low-level system libraries. The design emphasizes portability, extensibility, and compatibility with sandboxed or restricted environments where direct CPU access may be limited.

    EasyPermissions

    EasyPermissions

    Simplify Android M system permissions

EasyPermissions is a wrapper library to simplify basic system permissions logic when targeting Android M or higher. If your app is written in Kotlin consider the easypermissions-ktx library which adds Kotlin extensions to the core EasyPermissions library. To begin using EasyPermissions, have your Activity (or Fragment) override the onRequestPermissionsResult method. If all of the permissions in a given request are granted, all methods annotated with the proper request code will be executed(be sure to have an unique request code). The annotated method needs to be void and without input parameters (instead, you can use onSaveInstanceState in order to keep the state of your suppressed parameters). This is to simplify the common flow of needing to run the requesting method after all of its permissions have been granted. Optionally, for a finer control, you can have your Activity / Fragment implement the PermissionCallbacks interface.

    FL Chart

    FL Chart

FL Chart is a highly customizable Flutter chart library

fl_chart is a charting library for Flutter that focuses on expressive, highly customizable data visualizations with smooth animations. It offers a broad set of chart types—line, bar, pie, scatter, and radar—each exposed through clear data/option models rather than imperative drawing. Interactive features like touch handling, tooltips, selection/highlighting, and panning help apps present insights rather than static images. The package pays special attention to aesthetics, with options for gradients, curved lines, stacked bars, rounded corners, custom tick formats, and flexible legends. Because it’s built on Flutter’s rendering primitives, it scales crisply on any device and adapts well to layout constraints. Its API is designed so teams can start simple and progressively layer in formatting, interactions, and performance tweaks as dashboards grow in complexity.

    FastClick

    FastClick

Easy-to-use library to remove click delays on browsers with touch UIs

FastClick is a simple, easy-to-use library for eliminating the 300ms delay between a physical tap and the firing of a click event on mobile browsers. The aim is to make your application feel less laggy and more responsive while avoiding any interference with your current logic. FastClick is developed by FT Labs, part of the Financial Times. Note: As of late 2015 most mobile browsers - notably Chrome and Safari - no longer have a 300ms touch delay, so fastclick offers no benefit on newer browsers, and risks introducing bugs into your application. Consider carefully whether you really need to use it. The library has been deployed as part of the FT Web App. FastClick doesn't attach any listeners on desktop browsers.
