The Areath project aims to create an easily reusable framework for putting together modernized (but still pleasingly retro) text-based games. Legends of Areath is a full game built using the framework.

Arnacaw Online is an open source 2D MMORPG in development. A traditional MMORPG with many extensions, features planned include dynamic player-built worlds, a stock market, auctions, and a player-driven glyph-based spell system.

An MMORPG effort

We are a completely new mud engine not based on any previous ones but taking their best features, optimizing them and putting them to use. The source code is mainly written in C++ and is aimed to be as multi-platform as possible.
