Cooperative Linux is the first method for optimally running Linux on Windows and other operating systems natively. It is a port of the Linux kernel and support code that allows it to run cooperatively without emulation along with another operating system.

7-max increases the performance of some applications up to 10-20%. Windows uses small (4 KB) RAM pages by default. 7-max allows to use large (2 MB) RAM pages.

Many PPAs/Repos already available. Event sounds (minimize, maximize, close, etc...) enabled by default you can enable/disable compiz using "mate-tweak"! No need to download hundred megabytes after installation! Note: To burn the ISO to a USB stick, use "dd" command. In MS Windows use Rufus. This ISO is helpful for people trying to install linux for the first time or coming from windows environment. It has plenty of software pre installed (some are trial/shareware) with full internet and multimedia support. Very useful as live media as well. ELKS is a subset of the Linux kernel that runs on IBM compatible PCs from 8086 up. It is intended to get use out of obsolete old hardware, for use in embedded systems, and as an educational tool. ELKS has been moved to Github to protest SourceForge's installer adware hijacking. This does not directly affect ELKS, but it does affect many major open source projects such as Gimp and FileZilla by attempting to trick the user into installing adware in order to download these programs. Haiku is an open-source operating system currently in development designed from the ground up for desktop computing.

An operating system to be designed and implemented from the ground up. It will be totally Unix in nature, with POSIX compliance. Most of the core implementation will be in C and assembly, with the C++ bits coming later.

This project reimplements from scratch the RPL language made popular by HP programmable calculators, in portable C/C++.
