GXSM -- Gnome X Scanning Microscopy: A multi-channel image and vector-probe data acquisition and visualization system designed for SPM techniques (STM,AFM..), but also SPA-LEED/LEED/LEEM data analysis. A plug-in interface allows any user add-on data-processing and special hardware and instrument support. Latest: NC-AFM and related explorative methods as SQDM can be configured. High-Speed external PAC-PLL hardware option with digital DSP link. OFELI (Object Finite Element LIbrary) is a library of finite element C++ classes for multipurpose development of finite element software. It is intended for teaching, research and industrial developments as well.

kradview is a viewer of images obtained for some different sources: X-ray, NMR and all DICOM-compatible imaging devices. Its aim is to be a complete platform for medical imaging and image processing.

Acoustic FDTD Solver (AC2D) -- is a software to simulate acoustic wave propagation in two dimensions based on the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method.

The ADG library (Automatic Drawing Generation) is a set of functions focused on automating the drawing of mechanical parts. It is not a CAD system but a GObject-based library where a custom application can put common CAD entities such as paths, hatches and dimensions, to automatically create technical drawings. A demo application is provided in order to show the capabilities of the canvas. Although it is possible to interact with the library directly in C (that is what the adg-demo program is doing), the canvas is expected to be used from higher level languages, much in the same way as what done in the GNOME stack. Lua bindings based on LGI are already provided out of the box. The adg-lua project, downloadable from the "Files" section, provides Lua programs and demos that leverages these bindings.

DAT_Analyzer (DANA) is fully automated tool for analyzing dopamine transporter PET. DANA utilizes coregistration and spatial normalization functions in SPM8 and therefore requires MATLAB 7.1 (or higher) and SPM8 in 64bit environment with more than 8 GB RAM. MAC OSX OS is recommended. It includes various custom templates for conventional MR, DARTEL MR, two type of CT, and ligand specific PET and also includes various types of striatal subregional VOI templates. It supports five types of spatial normalization methods. (This project will be uploaded soon. It's now under construction.)

Eirik is a tool for exploring large data sets, by using statistical analyses and multiple linked visualizations for data reduction. It relies on R, QT4 and OpenGL. Developed as part of AstroGrid/VOTech, Eirik uses Ice and xmlrpc for distributed computing.

ElicitN uses R and a tcltk gui interface for eliciting a number from an appropriate expert. The code has been modified from it's original version designed specifically for eliciting the number of species on coral reefs from expert taxonomists. FusionViewer is a medical image display application designed for flexible display and interpretation of aligned image volumes. Its primary purpose is to display dual-modality PET/CT images. The project is now in Beta stage.

GoIFISH has been developed for the analysis of IFISH (Immunofluorescence + Fluorescence in situ Hybridisation) images, performing nuclear, membrane and spot detection. Users can manually edit segmentation results, perform background adjustments, construct heatmaps, topology maps, and perform cell classification. All results can be exported for further analysis. GoIFISH has been developed in MATLAB, however binaries are provided to run the program outside of the MATLAB environment. Source code is also available for download. Patlac--Xml2cpp is a totally customizable code generator that generates classes (c++ for now) automatically from a xsd schema. Classes are described in google-ctemplate files and a xml options file allow precise definition of projects.

The Java applet QuartzCrystal shows the frequency response of quartz crystals and Pierce crystal oscillators. Crystal parameters can be freely choosen. Display is spectrum analyzer-like and shows the amplitude/phase and/or a Nyquist diagram. Crystals can be series resonant or with load capacitance. Adding of spurious resonances is possible.
