FORTRAN Unit Test Framework, written in FORTRAN 95. So that all FORTRAN features can be tested. FRUIT has assertion, fixture, setup, teardown, report, spec, driver generation. Rake used as build tool. Tutorials at http://fortranxunit.wiki.sourceforge.net The core testing part is in FORTRAN, this part can be used independent of the Ruby codes. The Ruby code is to make fixtures and reports easier. Rake is to build the project elegantly. This project also demonstrate a new way to build mixed language code in an alternative way than Make. Most of the FORTRAN are important in nature, used in nuclear and aerospace codes, etc, and maintained and written actively. Please help to bring TDD practices to the FORTRAN community. Dynamic Probe Class Library (DPCL) is an object based C++ class library that provides the necessary infrastructure to allow tool developers and sophisticated tool users to build parallel and serial tools through technology called dynamic instrumentation.

Manufactured Analytical Solution Abstraction (MASA): a library for applying the Method of Manufactured Solutions to verification of numerical software used for solving systems of nonlinear algebraic and differential equations.

The alio library can be dynamically pre-linked to existing executables and replaces file IO (i.e. calls to glibc's IO functions). This allows to gather statistics about IO, create IO trace files, or even implement a different IO behaviour (e.g. use separate IO servers to handle IO).

Coarrays are native Fortran means for SPMD parallel programming. At runtime multiple copies of the executable (called images) are executing asynchronously. The F2008 standard provides coarray syntax, remote calls, coarray data objects, allocatable coarrays, syncronisation, atomics, etc. F2018 adds new functionality, e.g. collectives, teams, events, more atomics. Coarrays are used extensively in CASUP library for HPC (https://cgpack.sourceforge.io). The course is aimed at experienced Fortran users. Working knowledge of Fortran is assumed. The course is designed for a 1 day study with an instructor. Multiple exercises with full solutions are accompanied by notes. This course is taught to the University of Bristol HPC users. Exercises have been verified with Intel and GCC/OpenCoarrays. All course materials are released under BSD license.
