SETEdit is a friendly text editor. It is a text mode application with windows, buttons, mouse support, etc. The main target of the project are programmers so the editor is mainly oriented to programming.

WP2LaTeX is a program for conversion WordPerfect MAC1.x, 2.x, 3.x and PC 4.x,5.x,6.x documents to LaTeX. Converted features are: Headers, Tables, Equations, Centered+ Right+ Left text, a lot of extended characters (greek, math,cyrilic) and of course a normal text. Usage: qbasdown Markdown_file qbasdown Markdown_file --verbose qbasdown Markdown_file --silent ~~~ Written for FreeDOS in QuickBASIC 4.5, mostly under a hybrid DOSEMU/FreeDOS 1.2 installation, but the final compilation in a release will always be tested on bare silicon in a dedicated FreeDOS installation. QuickBASIC? Why? To see if it could be done, I guess, and also to re-familiarize myself with this BASIC dialect. It also compiles in FreeBASIC using the *-lang qb* switch. Linux has dozens of Markdown implementations, probably better than this one, too, but I don't know of any on FreeDOS.

OSPlus is a collection of utilities for DOS, Linux and Win32. This includes a Text Editor and a Disk Imager. I am gradually making it Open Source, and the source will be available for anyone to hack away on.

The Doc2Html command line operating program strippes the Word produced html files (by opening the documet, saving as html) leaving pure text + minimum html code. It also has a mode to convert data berween different charsets: DOS, Windows-1250 and ISO-8859

Mateusz's Saucy Editor (MSEDIT) is a simple editor working in the DOS environment. I decided to write it, because I had been using the Microsoft's EDIT editor for years, without finding any free alternative. Of course, there is plenty of free DOS editors out there, but no one has ever matched my expectations (or should I say, my taste). I guess that's because I had already been "formatted" by the MS editor :-) You will probably notice that MSEDIT is very similar to Microsoft's EDIT. That's a pure coincidence, and there is no connection at all between both of them.

Latexss is a program that can transform a text file with a very minimal style syntax into a self contained LaTeX spreadsheet powered by the fp package. A graphical front-end (klatexss) is provided to generate both the text and the LaTeX file.
