This repository contains source code and build scripts for implementations of the OpenXR loader, validation layers, and code samples. OpenXR is a royalty-free, open standard that provides high-performance access to Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), collectively known as XR platforms and devices. Without a cross-platform standard, VR and AR applications and engines must use each platform’s proprietary APIs. New input devices need customized driver integration. OpenXR provides cross-platform, high-performance access directly into diverse XR device runtimes across multiple platforms. OpenXR enables applications and engines, including WebXR, to run on any system that exposes the OpenXR APIs.

Use Steam VR-enabled applications with your phone as HMD (Head-mounted display). The only Open-Source solution to similar commercial packages like VRidge, Riftcat, Trinus etc. The common network can be any type of network between desktop and android app, even USB Tethering and Mobile Hotspots are supported. Requires a PC with Windows 7 or above, A smartphone with Android 5.0(Lollipop) or above with OpenGL-ES 3.0 or above, Steam and some SteamVR applications installed. Windows SteamVR Driver, auto loads with SteamVR, and gets FrameTextures from VRApplication(like SteamVR Home, VRChat, etc.) via SteamVR. These Textures are then Encoded and Streamed, at specified game_fps, to Mobile devices using x264 Encoder. Most settings are self-explanatory. Any change in settings will require SteamVR to be restarted for the application.

This is a demo of OpenGL ES 2.0. It is basically an Android application with a 3D engine that can load Wavefront OBJ, STL & DAE files. The purpose of this application is to learn and share how to draw using OpenGL language. The application does not use any third-party library. Load 3D models and see how to do it with this open-source code application. The main purpose of this app is to show how to draw in Android using the OpenGL 2.0 by sharing the source code. So please, don't expect this application to be much richer or nicer than the ones already published in the app store, but at least it's open to anyone who wants to contribute or doesn't want to start a similar project from scratch.

Bullet is real-time collision detection and multi-physics simulation for VR, games, visual effects, robotics, machine learning etc. Jvm port of Bullet, by Erwin Coumans. Take a look at the tests to see what has been ported and tested to be working. A high-end desktop GPU, such as an AMD Radeon 7970 or NVIDIA GTX 680 or better. We succesfully tested the software under Windows, Linux and Mac OSX. The software currently doesn't work on OpenCL CPU devices. It might run on a laptop GPU but performance will not likely be very good. Note that often an OpenCL drivers fails to compile a kernel. Some unit tests exist to track down the issue, but more work is required to cover all OpenCL kernels.

Puzzler is a mobile VR application for new VR users which challenges them to solve a familiar type of puzzle in a new way. You just need your mobile and VR cardboard and you can enjoy playing puzzles in a virtual world without being distracted by anything from the real world you live in. Most of the scripts were provided by Udacity. I have edited them to match my needs. Most of the models and textures are provided by Udacity starter files. I used some images for texturing the particles. The main target platform is android mobiles to use it with cardboard viewer. The main focus in this project is the design issues of the VR experience. So you might find a lot of stuff about testing and designing. But trust me it’s all about making the user have a great VR experience. Understanding the anatomy of complex organs such as the human brain can be a challenge for students, so there is a definite advantage given to students who can experience the structures in a spatial way through real or virtual experiences. Since 2016, the Marquette Visualization Lab has been utilizing a dataset of 3 and 7 Tesla MRI scans from the Structural Informatics Group at University of Washington to visualize the structures of the brain in their Cave, utilizing the Unity game engine and 10 stereoscopic 3D projectors. Most MRI scans are presented as a volumetric rendering, but this dataset is unique because it was fully labelled and parcellated, allowing lab users to not only view the structures of the brain, but also virtually dissect it in a large scale, collaborative virtual reality environment. This year, in the interest of making the learning experience more mobile and accessible, the visualization was ported to the Oculus Quest.

This is an unofficial Google Cardboard Unity SDK, implemented from new Google Cardboard open source project. This project is released, it is production-ready now.
