BibleTime Mini News

Recently BibleTime Mini got published in stores and i decided to report the status of porting. For now it is available for following platforms:

• Android 2.3.3 and above in GooglePlay
• BlackBerry 10 in AppWorld
• iOS for jail-broken devices
• MeeGo Harmattan and Symbian S60 and ^3 in Nokia Ovi Store
• Windows Mobile 5 and above

I'm very glad for Symbian platform and our multi-language Library so i hope Bible in native language would reach many nationalities.... read more

I'm glad to report that BibleTime Mini been published on GooglePlay and through some time will be available in Nokia store. However new versions been uploaded here.

Just notice, further, versions for some platforms would not be updated during releases. Let me know that you use BibleTime Mini on that platform or experience some problems, and i will kindly package application for that platform, even if you will be the only user there :^)... read more

There is update on development and i hope to get out of Beta soon.

• iOS platform was introduced, it would work not as expected because Qt port is beta for now, and jailbreak is required. Earlier Symbian and MeeGo platforms was added.
• Settings page was added, now you can set font size relative factor. Added dark interface theme for those who read in the night (just change in Settings->Ui Style to "mini-night"). And also slowww continuous scrolling feature.

Hello, glad to introduce full-featured android version of BibleTime Mini application (with clucene, multithreaded text processing, av11n-mappings-support). It is based on Necessitas project and works very well on device.

Added new version with:

• Module Installer
• Lexicon/Dictionary support
• Context lookup. If module is Strong's numbers indexed, short tapping on the word will open context window, same way look footnotes. Sliding right context window will display commentary lookup for current verse. To select default modules make long tap in module selection window on the module you want.

Next version should be Release Candidate and contain several ui improvements and bug fixes.

There is still much to do... But i want to share this program with peoples who have such old devices, on platform that is not developed any more, and peoples who want to spend their free time in the bus or expecting the lift in reflection over the Divine words.
