lftp is a sophisticated command line based file transfer program.

commands simultaneously or in the background. It also features
mirroring capabilities and will reconnect and continue transfers in
the event of a disconnection. Also, if you quit the program while
transfers are still in progress, it will switch to nohup mode and
finish the transfers in the background. Additional protocols

lots of tunable parameters, including rate limitation, number of
connections limitation and more.

The Cyrus IMAP server is generally intended to be run on sealed

database is stored in parts of the filesystem that are private to

protocols. The private mailbox database design gives the server large
advantages in efficiency, scalability, and administratability.
Multiple concurrent read/write connections to the same mailbox are
permitted. The server supports access control lists on mailboxes and

When trying to lock file, sadc now checks for both EWOULDBLOCK and
EAGAIN error codes to be portable. Sar could sometimes display a line
whose time stamp was greater than the limit set by -e option; this is
no longer possible. The sadc command in sysstat.sh script had to be
enclosed in quotes to work when called via 'su -c'. The sysstat.sh
script was sending the output of sadc command to stdout instead of
the standard system activity file. This is now fixed. The "Save
picture" option of isag script was also fixed. 

Project description:
The sysstat package contains the sar, mpstat, and iostat commands for
Linux. The sar command collects and reports system activity
information. This information can also be saved in a system activity
file for future inspection. The iostat command reports CPU statistics
and I/O statistics for tty devices and disks. The statistics reported
by sar concern I/O transfer rates, paging activity, process-related
activites, interrupts, network activity, memory and swap space
utilization, CPU utilization, kernel activities, and TTY statistics,
among others. Both UP and SMP machines are fully supported.

Many typos were fixed. A bug that caused cdrecord to be unable to
reload the medium with notebook drives was fixed along with a problem
in mkisofs that caused the -quiet option to sometimes not be quiet.

the medium. More /dev/hd devices are scanned with dev=ATAPI on Linux.

The Cyrus IMAP server is generally intended to be run on sealed
systems, where normal users are not permitted to log in. The mailbox

protocols. The private mailbox database design gives the server large
advantages in efficiency, scalability, and administratability.
Multiple concurrent read/write connections to the same mailbox are
permitted. The server supports access control lists on mailboxes and
storage quotas on mailbox hierarchies, multiple SASL mechanisms, and
the Sieve mail filtering language.

Dnsmasq is a lightweight, easy to configure DNS forwarder and DHCP
server. It is designed to provide DNS and (optionally) DHCP to a
small network. It can serve the names of local machines which are not
in the global DNS. The DHCP server integrates with the DNS server and
allows machines with DHCP-allocated addresses to appear in the DNS
with names configured either in each host or in a central
configuration file. Dnsmasq supports static and dynamic DHCP leases
and BOOTP for network booting of diskless machines.

Project description:
Heartbeat provides a heartbeat and IP address takeover functions for a
high-availability Linux cluster. It monitors the members of the
cluster and tells you when one goes down within a few seconds. The
current version runs over serial ports and UDP broadcast/multicast.
It is easily adapted to different interconnect media and protocols.
It also will re-allocate IP addresses and other resources to other
members of the cluster when a machine goes down, and move them back
when it comes back up.

make use of the SCSI command set: not just SCSI generic (sg), but

(e.g. /dev/st0). sginfo decodes a lot more mode pages. sg_scan will

The sg_utils package includes variants of the Unix dd command called
sg_dd and sgp_dd that speed copies to, from, and between SCSI disks
and CDROMs. sg_map and sg_scan supply information about SCSI devices
and how they are related to other drivers. There are utilities for
timing and testing SCSI devices and the SCSI bus. The sg3_utils
package is for the Linux 2.4 series, while sg_utils is for the 2.2
series with some support for the 2.0 series.
