This email is to inform you about the release of version '2.6.9' of 'libxml2' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/libxml/ The changes in this release are as follows: Support for xml:id has been added. There are several bugfixes and improvements in various areas: Relax-NG, XML schemas, the HTML parser, XInclude, and regexp handling. Project description: Libxml2 is the XML C library developed for the Gnome project. The library code is portable (to Linux, Unix, Windows, embedded systems, etc.) and modular; most of the extensions can be compiled out. Libxml2 implements a number of existing standards related to markup languages, including the XML standard, Namespaces in XML, XML Base, Relax NG, RFC 2396, XPath, XPointer, HTML4, XInclude, SGML Catalogs, and XML Catalogs. In most cases, libxml tries to implement the specifications in a relatively strict way. To some extent, it provides support for the following specifications, but doesn't claim to implement them: DOM, FTP client, HTTP client, and SAX2. Support for W3C XML Schemas is in progress. It includes xmllint, a command line XML validator. This email is to inform you about the release of version '2.8.6' of 'lm_sensors' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/lm_sensors/ The changes in this release are as follows: Most importantly, Linux 2.6.5 is supported. Submissions from the Debian folks have been accepted and included, most of which are new manual pages for the user-space tools. The SMSC LPC47B27x and the Philips PCA9540 chipsets are now supported. The detection for ADM1021 and clones has been refined, which should hopefully prevent most misdetections. Many other minor bugs have been fixed in both the drivers and the user-space tools. Project description: lm_sensors provides essential drivers for monitoring the temperatures, voltages, and fans of Linux systems with hardware monitoring devices. It contains drivers for sensor chips and I2C and SMBus masters, text-based tools for sensor reporting, and a library for sensors access called 'libsensors'. It also contains tools for sensor hardware identification and I2C bus probing. This email is to inform you about the release of version '20030616-p9' of 'amavisd-new' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/amavisd-new/ The changes in this release are as follows: This release fixes a few minor but perhaps annoying problems that P8 introduced, and adds more workarounds for Perl taint bugs to be able to use the development version of SpamAssassin. The helper program amavis-milter.c now checks and properly reports the status of all calls to mkdir/rmdir/open/unlink/write, and makes a clear distinction between message data and connection data. The documentation was updated. Project description: amavisd-new is a high-performance and reliable interface between MTAs and one or more content checkers, including virus scanners, and/or the Mail::SpamAssasin Perl module. It talks to the MTA via (E)SMTP or LMTP, or by using helper programs. No timing gaps exist in the design, which could cause a mail loss.
