When using a field reference for a hidden fiel like password, the stars (and other indicators) seem to use the reference identifier, but not the reference value, causing user confusion:
When opening the entry using a reference to another entries' password field, a seemingly very long password is indicated by stars, and, more important, it's not obvious that the password field is using a reference while the content is hidden.
My suggestion is to either adjust the indicators to use the referenced field (instead of the field reference literally), or at least indicate that the field is using a reference (like using a different color for the stars hiding the content, or use a different style to display the field names (like italics, or a different color)).
Probably such solution would also solve these issues: 1141, 1511, 2105 (maybe even more)
