Hi,
I'm relatively new to using MP3 Gain. I started running some of my playlist tracks through it (using Track Analysis/Track Gain) at the default 89 db level. Doing so has removed all the clipping, however, it has done something strange to almost all the tracks and I don't know how to remedy it. Basically, the tracks are starting off at a good volume and then at some point, the volume drops significantly, making the track play at too low a volume.

I haven't been able to figure out how to fix this in the playlists I have already run through MP3 Gain and I don't know what settings to adjust to prevent it from happening to future tracks I run through it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much!

Many of us have felt that way but the rest think it sounds excellent! It almost sounds like you have recorded from a microphone. Well, not that bad. The Gain is lost.Phil

Thanks for the reply. I didn't use a mic, just straight music tracks from various sources that I wanted to clean-up. Any ideas of how to get the tracks to stay at a constant volume throughout each one. The drop-off in the middle of a song is really annoying. Thanks again.

I did some additional examination of the tracks with the problem: the drop-off of the volume happens at 1 minute in on each and every one of the tracks. Any idea what MP3 Gain did and how do I prevent it from happening again? I haven't been able to figure out a batch process to increase the volume enmass, so I am in the process of doing each (of the 1800+) tracks individually. Thanks again in advance for any help you can provide.
