In previous versions of this program, pressing the Enter key would have the program read whatever text was inputted into it, and that feature seems to be absent from this new version. Is there any way you could add that functionality back to this newer version? I'd love to make use of the dictionary feature this new version has, but without that Enter key functionality, I'm still sticking to the older one. Please and thank you.
Hello! I’m not aware of this functionality in the previous version. Are you talking about a textbox field with the text “This is a test string”? I will try to add an Enter key handler for this field. However, please provide a step‑by‑step guide if it’s something different.
The main functionality of this app is to read the text that is copied to the clipboard. The small textbox is just for testing purposes.
Yes, in the earlier version, the much simpler one without the dictionary or
the ability to download the read text as an audio file, if you typed
something in the "This is the test string" field, and then pressed enter,
it'd read whatever you typed in as if you clicked the test button. It's
largely just a convenience feature, but if it's not too much trouble to
add, that'd be very nice and much appreciated.
