squisyFORUMS is currently in flux; it's undergoing some major changes that will help it integrate into other existing applications. Currently I'm working on creating another extensibility layer that will allow additional information to be retrieved/created/set from the existing objects to enable you to return/set/create additional data with the existing squishyFORUMS objects.

For instance, on http://www.gazm.org , every creation of a User object requires an additional 7 fields from another table, plus a set of aggregated data from a number of other tables. The old way to do it was slow (multiple DB hits to get the data). The new way involves some configuration changes and squishyFORUMS automatically retrieves/creates/sets the additional data from the database.

There's a new package available. It includes all the squishyFORUMS source code plus some new documentation and all of the http://www.surrealization.com code.

squishyFORUMS is almost ready to go. Once I finish a few more key features I will make a release, once I get surrealization updated I will make a release for that as well.
