All DirectSound track has a little noise
I try many gba emulators and all of them has this problem
but the direct sound track can play without noise in some way(such as in sappy, though I know it is not emulate the game)
I just want to know is there any possible to improve it.
thanks
you can use the interpolation slider for this, however the hardware itself isn't perfectly clear, PC's just extenuate the issue
well, sound interpolation is wonderful. But I just wonder how does this issue happen.if the track use wave/square,the sound will be clear. But the tiny noise appear when using the direct sound/multi sample
thank you all the same:)
Sound interpolation has nothing to do with most of the noise you will hear, which is caused by the channels having 8 bits of precision.

thanks a lot
In fact,I'm trying to import wav file into gba rom.I should make the file into 8 bit so I know what it will be,it was heard lower.but no noise.well,I should admit that when I import the wav,it sounds much clearer and better in gba than play it directly in windows.
Almost all the game use direct sound but it will use squar sound or drums,so the noise is no so clear.
I don't know how sappy work, but it really sounds good:)
