My review seems shocking. When my previous user name was dan2see, I developed the BNF for Java parser and started on a "visual" version using Java Swing. I am very proud that the project implements ISO-14977 correctly, and brings the language one step closer to being a real tool. I had hoped that this Extended BNF for Java parser would find some good use somewhere, maybe another champion. So I was very troubled when that did not happen. However, now I am older and wiser, and I think I understand what is happening to EBNF and ISO-14977 in this world, and it's OK. But I am no longer dan2see, I am daniel-cohen. I intend to take this project back, take it over, and maybe complete the features I started, 10 years ago. I will "fork" a new project. But don't worry! I'll find a way to do this legally and smoothly, in a way to benefit the project.
