Cloud Data

Cloud Data separates the data before saving the individual pieces to different online storage accounts and indexing the reference such that the data can be retrieved, merged and removed. Add in more storage accounts to the pool through a configuration file. Cloud Data opens up options for those who wants to have more capacity than the online storage limits, centralised data management, etc.

Cloud Data connects to free web storage as database by using the Google Spreadsheet service. It can be called through web scripts to perform transactions such as insert, update, delete, etc. It can also store binary file content as base 64 encoded text. The selection of data is extracted and returned in the mobile friendly lightweight JSON format.
