Include molte più applicazioni di default come Skype, dropbox, cover-thumbnailer, amule, qBtorrent, super-boot-manager, scopy e openshot, viene sostituito banshee con clementine e grub con burg, non si esclude l'introduzione di nuovo software proposto dagli utenti.

GnoMindOS, precedentemente conosciuto come GnoMint, consente di utilizzare nel pieno delle sue potenzialità Gnome Shell, partendo da una base Ubuntu con tutte le caratteristiche e facilitazioni tipiche di Linux Mint: si basa infatti su Linux Mint 12 "Lisa". Si presenta però privo di customizzazioni introdotte nell'ultima nata di casa Mint, quali Mate, Cinnamon ed il famoso (e famigerato) MGSE. Numerose extensions della Shell sono già installate, la dotazione di software è molto ricca e l'esperienza di utilizzo la rende una magnifica distribuzione da utilizzare senza particolari accorgimenti pre e post installazione.
