JOrtho - Java Orthography Checker download

JOrtho is a spell checker for Java. The library works with any JTextComponent from the swing framework. The dictionary is based on the free Wiktionary.org and applicable for multiple languages. You can select the spellchecking language via context menu.

This library is used by FreeMind and its fork Freeplane for spell checking, so it cannot be too bad. The two projects found no better Java library for the purpose back then: Jazzy was rejected and Hunspell is in C++, requiring a Java wrapper.
