JStest

This is a Qt based app that uses SDL_Joystick to handle joysticks. It can be used to inspect the output of joysticks, and it can be used to learn how interaction with SDL's joystick handler can be accomplished.

This app has been run from within QtCreator on a linux platform. It also builds with Cmake on a linux platform. The code should be cross-platform but I have not tested it on other platforms. It has been built with Qt 5.12.8 and SDL2 2.0.14.

To build with Cmake use the standard method:

mkdir build
cd build
cmake ..
make
./JStest
