Random access (RA) procedure in LTE-A is known to suffer from congestion in presence og high number of devices. In the context of smart cities, thousands of sensors will generate M2M traffic periodically triggering the RA procedure for resource request. This simulator defines the supported capacity limits of LTE-A RA procedure.
