It's a side project that I made for myself since when I use my own mechanical keyboard at late night or in the office and my parents and my coworkers hate that a lot because the sound of the keyboard is very loud (especially in quiet places). So if you are facing this issue just like me then this product is for you!

Mechvibes is an excellent program that makes keyboard sounds as you type thus informing you audibly that you are typing something and haven't missed a keystroke. Plus it gives you a kind of retro feeling when you type (for us oldsters that have used a mechanical keyboard in the past). Kudos to the developers for developing this free program! One extremely minor complaint that doesn't even warrant taking it down a star is that the "splash screen" that shows up upon bootup must be acknowledged, otherwise, it just sits there forever. Admittedly, the splash screen has some controls on it, but once you've selected what you want when you initially install it, why bother me with it every time I reboot?
