The inspiration of Midnight Journal came from simplicity, productivity, and late night journal Entries.

With Midnight Journal, we value the longevity of your journal entries and as such store them as flat plain text files that will be readable in 50 to 100 years.

Written in easy-to-learn python, and the PySide Qt framework, the second goal of Midnight Journal is to provide a beginner friendly environment for developers of all skill level to contribute to.
