A bit week on the documentation side but I got check_file to work just before I would abandon it to look for something else. You need quotes around a check. check_file "age test.txt eg 2d 3d" My original post : Maybe works if you can figure out the syntax. I could not get check_file to work with the example from the help check_file age test.txt eg 2d 3d FILE: [Error 2] The system cannot find the file specified: '-1', Unsupported check: test.txt: test.txt "-1" None -1 -1, Unsupported check: eg: eg "-1" None -1 - 1, Unsupported check: 2d: 2d "-1" None -1 -1, Unsupported check: 3d: 3d "-1" None -1 -1
