Latest version is quite an improvement. It loads faster and converts text faster to speech. The voices are OK.

I've just uploaded a deb file for ubuntu 14.04. I've tested on a virtual machine and it works fine. The problem was that application was compiled in 16.04 which uses a different version of gcc. Compiling against ubuntu 14.04 fixes the problem. Please test again and review the application.

Not working in Ubuntu 14.04... wonder if the issue is an undeclared qt5 dependency. Documentation? Bug reporting? Support? Project URL?
