OpenPhotobooth is an open-source photobooth application for canon's excellent powershot cameras. The application takes a series of pictures and prints strips of photos, any number of columns the users wants. It has the capability of having a custom header on the photostrip, and having a custom background for full-screen "kiosk" type of applications. This application only works on Windows XP with powershot cameras. This is due to Canon not releasing decent drivers for any other operating systems for the powershot cameras.
Other Canon cameras may work as well.
